Projects are funded for a total period of 12 months. TIA Fellows are expected to spend a period equivalent to one full year working in facilities provided by the industrial host company. The funding may be spread out over a maximum of three years. Note that the working periods can be flexibly allocated over the project period. Describe the preliminary schedule and division of labour below.

Funding covers the Fellow’s salary costs for a period of 12 months. No overhead costs may be charged on the Fellow’s salary costs. Index-based salary adjustments may be taken into account in the budget.

**For participation in scientific conferences and, where justified, for other occasional travel related to the project, such as visits to the company partner’s other locations or stakeholder meetings. Regular commuting between home and the workplace is not an eligible expense.

Step 4/4 Agreements and other

I have read and agree with the General Terms of Tandem Industry Academy Fellow (TIA Fellow) funding and understand that if, based on this application, funding is granted to the project, the academic organization shall sign an agreement with the Foundation prior to the payment of funding. The General Terms shall be attached as an annex to this agreement.

The Foundation keeps and archives all submitted applications. We may use them to improve our work, funding models, and impact. All information is handled carefully and kept confidential. We will not share applications or personal data with anyone outside the Foundation without the applicant’s consent. Any research results will be presented so that individual applicants, organizations, or projects cannot be identified.
